Admission of Non-Japanese nationals to Municipal Primary School / Junior High School

Primary school is a six-grade system and junior high school is a three-grade system.
The primary school period is six years from April 1st after the child’s 6th birthday.
According to Jumin-hyou (residence certificate), a school guide and an application form for school admission will be sent in the middle of October to those who have a child whose 6th birthday is on or before April 1 of the next year.  Please fill the application form, and submit to the school affairs section, the school education promotion division by the middle of November.
When you enroll your child in a municipal elementary school in Yao city, notice of admission (including a school registration form on the right half) will be sent to you by the end of December in order to inform you of the school to which your child is assigned.  Please fill the school registration form, and submit to the assigned school on the day of a school information session.
Notice of admission (including a school registration form on the right half) for a municipal junior high school will be sent by the end of December to those who have a child who is in the 6th grade of a municipal elementary school in Yao city.  Please fill the school registration form, and submit to the assigned school on the day of the school entrance ceremony.

　小学校は6年制、中学校は3年制です。
　小学校の期間は、お子さんが満6歳に達した日の翌日以後における最初の4月1日から6年間です。
　10月中旬ごろ本市の住民票に基づき、翌年度の小学校への入学対象となる  お子さんの保護者に対し、就学案内と入学申請書を送付しますので、入学申請書に必要事項を記入のうえ、11月中旬までに学校教育推進課学事係へ提出してください。
12月末までに就学通知書（通知書右半分は就学届）を送付し入学校が指定されますので、八尾市立小学校へ入学を希望する場合は、就学届に必要事項を記入のうえ、入学説明会当日に指定の学校へ提出してください。
　中学校の入学通知書（通知書右半分は入学届）は、12月末までに八尾市立小学校の6年生に在籍する児童の保護者に対し送付します。入学届に必要事項を記入のうえ、入学式当日に指定の学校へ提出してください。
