Light Automobile Tax（軽自動車税）

The light vehicle (Kei-Jidosha) tax is charged to people who own or use motorbikes or light vehicles on April 1. People who owned cars on April 1 will be levied for the same tax year. The due date for payment of Light Vehicle Tax is May 31st (if this date is a holiday, the due date will be the next day or the following working day).
